Suk-Ki Kong and Hyun-Chin Lim\u2019s \u2018Reclaiming Democratic Citizenship While Tackling Covid-19 in South Korea\u2019 revisits the \u2018K-quarantine\u2019 model to reflect critically on the effects the country\u2019s management of the pandemic has had on democratic citizenship. Initially highly effective in managing the pandemic, it ran into trouble when confronted with the practices of discrimination, exclusion, and inequality in Korean society, leading, just like we saw in Chapter Six above, to some unjust social impacts.
